Lake Blackshear - April 28, 2007 - Cordele Georgia

Started out as a fantastic day. Put the boat in at Veteran's State Park, off Hwy280 about 8 miles west of Cordele Georgia. Wasn't long before the first fish of the day was caught by James in about 8' of water (temp 75). Did I mention, it was the first fish caught in my new boat! That's just not right, but at least I DID catch one the same day. The day did not get any better, only one more fish was caught and it was not a keeper. Where did all the fish go? Well, you know what they say...A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work...

Anyway, I found my old stomping ground. The first 3 pictures are where I spent alot of summers. Ah, the good ole days. Sold it after the flood of 94'. Of course I wish I never had sold it. What was I thinking...
